Renaldo Bothma makes his debut at flanker as Jamie Roberts is back at centre and Elia Elia and George Merrick are named in the pack.

Saracens make seven changes to the XV which lost to Exeter last time out.

England internationals Jamie George, Owen Farrell, Nick Isiekwe, Maro Itoje and Mako Vunipola return to the side.

Richard Wigglesworth forms a new half-back partnership with Farrell as Sean Maitland replaces Nathan Earle on the wing.

Sarries have lost their past four games in all competitions, their worst run of results since 2010.

Harlequins: Brown; Walker, Alofa, Roberts, Visser; Smith, Care; Marler, Elia, Collier, Merrick, Horwill (capt), Bothma, Robshaw, Luamanu.

Replacements: Ward, Boyce, Sinckler, Lamb, White, Kitto, Lang, R. Chisholm.

Saracens: Goode; Maitland, Bosch, Barritt (c), Wyles; Farrell, Wigglesworth; M. Vunipola, George, Koch, Isiekwe, Kruis, Itoje, Clark, Wray.

Replacements: Tolofua, Barrington, Figallo, Skelton, Burger, Spencer, Lozowski, Earle.

Horwill’s men defeated Sarries 17-10 in this fixture last season – and with both teams about to head into the next round of Champions Cup matches, a win over the second-placed side would deliver much-needed momentum.

“Saracens are a quality side and have great depth,” said the former Australia skipper. “We don’t take much notice of recent form and expect them to be as good as they can be. They do their core things well. They are physical and use their big ball-carriers to get over the gain line, then guys like Owen Farrell use their deft touches in attack.”

Sarries’ defeats came while their sizeable international contingent were away and – apart from the injured Wales wing Liam Williams – the north London outfit will arrive in south-west London with all their Test players, including Owen Farrell, Maro Itoje and Mako Vunipola. Williams has a groin injury, while former Springbok hooker Schalk Brits is out until the new year with a muscle problem, yet Sarries are still able to call upon Scotland wing Sean Maitland and Lions hooker Jamie George in those positions.

BT Sport’s Austin Healey said he’s anticipating a “hugely entertaining game” but fears the home side will put their talents to waste against the All Blacks.

“Individually Scotland are very, very strong but collectively and defensively unit-wise they’re not so good,” he told BTSport.com.

“Their pack physically can’t match pretty much any pack in world rugby. But they can run sides around and that’s what Gregor Townsend’s recognised. They’ve got a very good backline, lots of pace. Lots of inventiveness. We saw that against Samoa.”

There is one injury-enforced change to the starting side which beat France in Paris for Saturday’s clash (Sunday 4.15am AEDT).

Codie Taylor replaces Dane Coles, who has returned home with a serious knee injury, allowing Nathan Harris to come onto the bench.

Starting blindside flanker Vaea Fifita holds off Liam Squire, who is on the bench at the expense of Scott Barrett.

Hansen said the announcement was delayed for 12 hours while the fitness of captain Kieran Read (hip flexor) and a number of players battered in Tuesday’s win over a French selection were assessed.

Hansen also revealed a number of the midweek team were heaping pressure on the first-choice tour outfit through efforts at training and in the games, suggesting the team for next week’s finale against Wales won’t be cut and dried.

“You don’t have to say anything do you? The stats haven’t told any lies,” Hansen said of the second-string line-up.

“They’ve put enough heat on the boys and the older guys understand that the other team has set the standard defensively, as an example.

“There’s a little bit of a challenge on there and that’s good. And it’s only going to get better.” Hansen said a fine example came at No 6, where Squire was strongly considered to start but only missed out because of the short turnaround.

Hansen confirmed Fifita would cover lock, a position he mainly plays at the Hurricanes, but he hopes it won’t happen often.

“For me he’s got the capability of being a world class No 6. You don’t want to be mucking him around playing two positions at once.”

The match kicks off at Twickenham at 3pm on Saturday, November 18.

England vs Australia

England welcome back two key players ahead of the all-important showdown with the Aussies. Owen Farrell is part of the run-on side, while fellow British and Irish Lion Maro Itoje takes his place on the bench after Jones opted to give starting berths to Courtney Lawes and Joe Launchbury.

The two Saracens were rested for England’s Test against Argentina, but this week Farrell returns at inside centre, with Henry Slade dropping to the replacements bench.

“He is a good communicator and a great competitor,” Jones said of Farrell. “We will need to compete really hard against Australia and there is nobody better at that than Owen.”

The Red Rose completed a historic series whitewash over the Wallabies in 2016, winning each game of their three-Test tour Down Under.

Australia were then dispatched by England in the final game of last year’s autumn Tests at Twickenham and Saturday’s hosts are now chasing a fifth straight victory over Michael Cheika’s men.

The last time an England side achieved that feat was in 2003 when the final victory in that sequence was sealed by Jonny Wilkinson’s boot and clinched World Cup glory.

Owen Farrell has been recalled for England’s clash with Australia at Twickenham on Saturday after being rested for the autumn opener against Argentina.

Farrell is picked at inside centre in place of Henry Slade, who drops to the replacements’ bench, in one of two changes in personnel to the backline that helped topple the Pumas 21-8.

Jonny May’s recovery from a hamstring strain sees him selected on the right wing while Mike Brown’s failure to recover from concussion sees Anthony Watson start at full-back for the first time.

Maro Itoje was also rested against Argentina and must now settle for a place among the replacements, while Joe Launchbury is selected as Courtney Lawes’ second row partner after George Kruis was dropped.

The French managed to keep it tight in the second period but still went down 18-38 and fell to a fourth straight defeat.

This match is a chance for France to show off their hosting potential before the 2023 World Cup, whilst Guy Noves can test his squad depth.

Just three players of the 46 who featured in Saturday’s Test match survive and six of the match-day 23 have never played for New Zealand before – including Jack Goodhue who starts at centre.

Luke Whitelock, having been called into the squad as injury cover for Jerome Kaino, will skipper the All Blacks.

Bordeaux scrum-half Yann Lesgourgues earns his first cap for Les Bleus.

England vs Argentina

England return to international action for the first time this season as they take on Argentina in the first of three autumn Tests at Twickenham, with Australia and Samoa set to follow over the next three weekends.

The clash will be the third time that England and Argentina have met this year, with Eddie Jones’ side claiming a 2-0 series victory in the summer despite taking a hugely inexperienced squad to South America due to the British and Irish Lions call-ups.

However, this time around England are back to almost full strength, although Jones has elected to rest two of his most influential players in Owen Farrell and Maro Itoje due to their “exceptional” schedules. The likes of Anthony Watson, Courtney Lawes and Dan Cole all return though, while Elliot Daly has somehow recovered from a slight knee ligament tear two weeks ago to take his place in the starting line-up.

Slade starts alongside Jonathan Joseph in the midfield, while George Kruis partners Courtney Lawes at lock.

Elliot Daly has recovered from a knee injury to start on the wing.

Sam Underhill, 21, is at seven while Exeter’s Sam Simmonds is line to make his debut after replacing the injured Tom Curry among the replacements.

Sale flanker Curry, 19, dislocated his wrist in training and has been ruled out for 12 weeks.

Jones described Saturday’s match as “our most important game this year”.

He had long hinted he would rest some of his British and Irish Lions this autumn, but while Farrell and Itoje are left out, Mako Vunipola, Dan Cole, Lawes, Kruis, Daly, Joseph and Anthony Watson all start against the Pumas.

With Farrell not involved, Slade has ousted Saracens’ Alex Lozowski to start at 12. Ben Youngs and George Ford resume their half-back combination, while Watson and Mike Brown complete the back three.

Jones explained that Slade’s performances on the tour of Argentina earlier this year – in which he started both Test victories- had earned him a starting slot.

Italy vs Fiji

TERRY Campese will return to Canberra Stadium as Italy take on Fiji in the final game of Group C.

The Fijians have been in red-hot form, running up big scores against the USA and Wales while Italy rebounded from their opening match defeat to Ireland with their own victory over the Americans.

It’ll take a riotous Italian victory to propel the Azzuri into the knockout stages and Fiji can only play with adventure, meaning this own promises to be a free-flowing affair from the jump.

FIJI and Italy’s World Cup clash was set alight Friday night as NRL superstar Jarryd Hayne found himself booted to the sin bin.

There were scraps aplenty in the fiery first half with referee Robert Hicks blowing up at each side’s captains. But it was the 27-year-old Hayne who copped the brunt of the punishment alongside Italy hooker Joe Tramontana.

The pair were sent off after an ugly fight broke out late in the first half.

The Gold Coast Titans star rushed into a brawl on the sidelines after Tramontana found himself scrapping with Fijiian forwards after a tackle. The spat sparked an all-in brawl with players from both sides grabbing each other’s jeresy’s and yelling abuse.

Video referee Ben Thaler declared there was “no foul play by Italy in the tackle” but found Tramontana to have thrown a punch in the midst of all the action.
